ENGLAND – CHAMPIONSHIP: Huddersfield Town vs QPR betting prediction

Huddersfield Town vs QPR
Tip Huddersfield Town – QPR

Huddersfield Town welcomes Queens Park Rangers to the John Smith’s Stadium in this Championship Match. The hosts are in third position with 69 points while the visitors are in 11th spot with 59 points. Huddersfield are coming of two consecutive wins in the league and are just four points behind second place Bournemouth but have played two extra matches. They will be hoping Bournemouth drop points because second place is automatic promotion to the Premier League. Huddersfield will be ruing their run of three matches without a win in March and that could ultimately cost them second spot. They will be confident coming into this match as they have won their last three home games against QPR with the last home loss coming in 2015.Huddersfield have previously played five matches on Good Friday, winning four and drawing one.

Queens Park Rangers are going through a nightmare run in the league and have lost their last five matches which includes a 2-1 loss to Preston in their last match. They last won a league against Luton Town in March but have lost seven of their eight matches. Queens Park Rangers were comfortably placed in the playoff position after 33 games but have since only gained three points from a possible 24. They are now six points behind the promotional playoff positions and on current form it is very unlikely they will finish in the top six. Queens Park Rangers did win the reverse fixture earlier this season and are trying to complete a league double over Huddersfield for the first time since the 2002/03 season.

The home team knows that anything other than three points could be the end of their chance to finish second. They already face an uphill battle but three points will almost certainly seal their place in the playoffs. We are backing Huddersfield to win this match.
