Atalanta and Leipzig meet in this second leg tie in the Europa League quarter final at the Gewiss Stadium. They have progressed from six of their last seven European knockout ties where they have avoided defeat in the first leg. Leipzig had an excellent 3-0 over Hoffenheim in their last match in the Bundesliga. They are now unbeaten in their last 14 matches across all competitions. Leipzig will be disappointed that they did not get the win in their home leg but they have been in good recent form. The German team has been involved in high scoring away matches in the Europa League with 23 goals being scored in their last four matches on the road. They won both their last two away matches in Europa but have never won three consecutive away matches in any European competition. Leipzig are looking to advance to only their second ever European semi-final after their reached the Champions League semi- final in the 2019/20 season.
