Leeds United are 16th in the Premier League but still not safe from relegation. They host Manchester City who are top of the table at present but will drop to second if Liverpool win at Newcastle earlier in the day. Leeds drew at Crystal Palace on Monday and are five points clear of the relegation zone but have played a game more than 18th placed Everton. The big problem for Leeds is that their next three league fixtures are against City, Arsenal and Chelsea, aka three of the current top five. If Leeds get bad results in these three games, then they are in for a very nervous final two games against Brighton and Brentford. United have only won four home league games this season but do have four points from their last two at Elland Road. They beat Norwich and drew with Southampton, hosting Manchester City is a totally different story.

Manchester City won the reverse fixture 7-0, just a 1-0 success would satisfy them this weekend. They are currently a point clear at the top of the Premier League with five games to play. They will be two points behind Liverpool with a game in hand if the Reds can win at Newcastle. City began the season with an away loss at Tottenham. Since then, they have won 12 and drawn three in the league with 30 goals scored and just six conceded. They have kept four consecutive away clean sheets. They come into this match having scored 12 goals in their last three games, including the four put past Real Madrid on Tuesday. Changes may be made with the Champions League semi-final second leg in midweek but they have far too much depth in their squad to see that cause them not to win this match.
